Brief introduction to the Peroptissimism :

(Operation and founding principles of my creative process)

Recent times have seen some very turbulent situations. The individual is torn between obligation and rebellion, between necessity and the freedom to say no. ! Stop !

We have seen our world mutilated by our fears, struck by our silences, pierced by unpunished evils and tossed by waves of indifference from a certain elite supposed to arrange everything for the good of the people.

We have defended our children with our meager resources, which have diminished year after year. We heal our wounded with words weakened by the weariness of the seemingly impossible fight. Every day, day after day, we find a fragile force that animates our steps. A force that we must transcend. A force that is not resilience but an unconscious act, for some, deeply dynamic, conscious for others who sometimes use it solitarily. Today, at least in December 2022, I put a word to this force, like what my late Grandmother told me « Kochi mache, Kanmenm mache ! », pulling his recalcitrant leg and giving him this order : « Annou ! Annou !». This strength of the people of my country Guadeloupe which is not resilience, too passive, but rather a much more pro-active dynamic, transmuting blows into tools, tears into washing water for suffering, fists into a breath cutting through adversity and falls into magnificent dance steps, facing its paradoxes to move forward. So I constructed this word which translates all this and which today could be of use to everyone, well beyond Guadeloupe : The Péroptissimism. A word that reflects this woman, my mother's mother, who, until her last breath, even knowing the end was near, was determined to make move what was still moving. : a few fingers of one hand that she tried to keep in action with a lemon that she moved between them with extraordinary conviction and willpower. « Annou ! annou ! » : indelible memory.

The Péroptissimism : active recovery force

Pessimism, Realism, Optimism, and Hope in a fertile tension. This concept, at once linguistic, ideological, spiritual, and symbolic, has offered me an ethical and creative compass for confronting the uncertainties and contradictions of contemporary existence. Today, I name it, formalize it, and explain it to you.

1. Linguistic Construction

The Péroptissimism, East a neologism built on four fundamental pillars:

  • Pe- : reference to pessimism, embodying our fearful and unbold attitude towards challenges and limitations.
  • -R- : for the rrealism, which sometimes curbs our ambitions and the feasibility of our actions.
  • Optimism : for faith in transformation and human ingenuity.
  • -Issim- : transmutation of the word hope or rather of its vibrating particle « is- », hissing before piercing the sound that follows it in the word.

The Péroptissimism embodies the fusion of these opposing but complementary energies, reflecting a constructive break from our usual postures. This neologism creates a space in which rational analysis and faith in evolution meet, leaving an essential place for humans as active actors in their dynamics in the face of the apparent realities of the world, and their impact on it. An interaction more than resilience.

In this linguistic approach, The Péroptissimism positions itself as a living concept, capable of evolving according to the social, cultural and emotional contexts to which it is applied. Each syllable of the word acts as a unit of meaning, reminding us that each element is essential to understanding the whole.

At the heart of this dynamic is « -Issim- ». Coming from the vibratory and sensitive particle of Hope, « -issim- » frees itself from its superlative nature common to Latin languages, (-issimus in Latin, -issimo in Italian, -ísimo in Spanish), to distill its energetic, spiritual and symbolic dimension. Just as the individual is not just matter, the words that animate him must be of the same nature. « -Issim- » is the starting point, the support, the balance and the matrix that will amplify, elevate, and project. « -Issim- » allows the Peroptissimism to be much more than an intellectual posture, a true vibratory and cognitive linguistic experience.

Optimism in The Péroptissimism is a Dynamic awareness who sees crises as opportunities for change and transforms blind faith in a better tomorrow into innovation.

Working with the insights that flow through him, the peroptissimist values ​​individual experimentation and collective intelligence. It is a force that refuses to give in to the apparent impossibility of certain projects and seeks to circumvent obstacles through creative approaches.

2.3 – Hope « active »: There Vibratory consciousness

Active hope is the fourth axis of the Peroptissimism : THE « Issim ». It is based on a Vibratory consciousness in the face of uncertainty. 3. Symbolic and Spiritual Dimensions

THE Phoenix, a mythical bird from multiple traditions, embodies metamorphosis and immortality through its cycle of death and resurrection.
